I watched the whole old series of movies some years ago. They were pretty decent. Be interesting to see the remake.

Its not a remake, its a prequel. I thought it was an excellent film with lots of nice nods to the original Planet of the Apes. A far better effort than the Tim Burton rubbish from a few years ago.
